আমি কি আপনার বক্ষ উম্মুক্ত করে দেইনি?

难道我没有为你而开拓你的胸襟吗?

Haben Wir dir nicht deine Brust aufgetan

Bij de berg Sinaï.

Have We not uplifted your heart for you O Prophet,

¿No te hemos infundido ánimo,

Ne t’avons-Nous pas ouvert la poitrine?

הלא הארנו לך את ליבך (באמונה)?

Non ti abbiamo forse aperto il petto [alla fede] 1

われは,あなたの胸を広げなかったか。

내가 그대의 가슴을 열어 넓히지 않았던가?

Bukankah Kami telah melapangkan bagimu: dadamu (wahai Muhammad serta mengisinya dengan iman dan hidayah petunjuk) ?

[ای پیامبر،] آیا ما سینه‌ات را [برای نزول وحی] برایت نگشودیم؟

Não te dilatamos o peito?

Разве Мы не раскрыли для тебя грудь твою?

HAR VI inte öppnat ditt bröst

Hindi ba nagpaluwag Kami para sa iyo ng dibdib mo?

(நபியே!) உம் நெஞ்சத்தை உமக்கு நாம் விரிவாக்கவில்லையா?

เรามิได้เปิดหัวอกของเจ้าแก่เจ้าดอกหรือ

Senin gönlünü açmadık mı?

(ئى مۇھەممەد!) سېنىڭ كۆكسىڭنى (ھىدايەت، ھېكمەت ۋە قۇرئاننىڭ نۇرى بىلەن) كەڭ قىلمىدۇقمۇ؟

وَوَضَعۡنَا
dan Kami letakkan/turunkan
And We removed
عَنۡكَ
dari kamu
from you
وِزۡرَكَۙ‏
bebanmu
your burden

wa waḍa’nā ‘angka wizrak

dan kami pun telah menurunkan beban darimu,

dan Kami telah menghilangkan darimu bebanmu,

আমি লাঘব করেছি আপনার বোঝা,

我卸下了你的重任,

und dir deine Last abgenommen,

N’avons-Nous pas déposé pour toi ton fardeau

והורדנו מעליך את מטענך הכבד,

あなたから重荷を降したではないか。

나는 그대의 짐을 내려 주었으니

Dan Kami telah meringankan daripadamu: bebanmu (menyiarkan Islam) –

و سنگینی [بارِ گناه و دشواریِ رسالت] را از [دوشِ] تو برنداشتیم؟

E não te depusemos o fardo,

и не сняли с тебя ношу,

och lyft av bördan

Nag-alis Kami palayo sa iyo ng pasanin mo,

இன்னும் உம் சுமையை உம்மைவிட்டு அகற்றினோம்.

และเราได้ปลดเปลื้องภาระหนักของเจ้าออกจากเจ้าแล้ว

Belini büken yükünü üzerinden almadık mı?

سېنىڭ بېلىڭنى ئېگىۋەتكەن ئېغىر يۈكنى ئۈستۈڭدىن ئېلىپ تاشلىدۇق[2ـ3].

যা ছিল আপনার জন্যে অতিশয় দুঃসহ।

即使你的背担负过重的,

die deinen Rücken niederdrückte,

Voorzeker, Wij hebben de mens in de beste vorm geschapen.

which weighed so heavily on your back,

Que agobiaba tu espalda

qui pesait si lourd sur ton dos ?

אשר הכביד על גבך,

che gravava sulle tue spalle?

それは,あなたの背中を押し付けていた。

그대의 등골을 분지르던 짐이라.

Yang memberati tanggunganmu, (dengan memberikan berbagai kemudahan dalam melaksanakannya)?

همان [باری] که بر پشتت سنگینی می‌کرد.

Que te vergava as costas?

которая отягощала твою спину?

som tyngde din rygg?

na nakabigat sa likod mo.

(அது), உம் முதுகை முறித்தது.

ซึ่งเป็นภาระหนักอึ้งบนหลังของเจ้า

Belini büken yükünü üzerinden almadık mı?

سېنىڭ بېلىڭنى ئېگىۋەتكەن ئېغىر يۈكنى ئۈستۈڭدىن ئېلىپ تاشلىدۇق[2ـ3].

وَرَفَعۡنَا
dan Kami tinggikan
And We raised high
لَـكَ
bagimu
for you
ذِكۡرَكَؕ‏
sebutanmu
your reputation

wa rafa’nā laka żikrak

dan kami tinggikan sebutan (nama)mu bagimu.

Dan Kami tinggikan bagimu sebutan (nama)mu.

আমি আপনার আলোচনাকে সমুচ্চ করেছি।

而提高了你的声望,

und dir dein Ansehen erhöht?

Daarna doen Wij hem terugkeren tot het laagste van het laagste.

and elevated your renown for you?1

Y alzado tu reputación?

(N’avons-Nous) pas élevé ton nom ?

ורוממנו את שמך הנשגב?

[Non abbiamo] innalzato la tua fama 1 ?

またわれは,あなたの名声を高めたではないか。

그리고 나는 그대를 위하여 그대의 명예를 높여 주었노라.

Dan Kami telah meninggikan bagimu: sebutan namamu (dengan mengurniakan pangkat Nabi dan berbagai kemuliaan)?

و [نام و] آوازۀ تو را بلند ساختیم.

E não te elevamos a fama?

Разве Мы не возвеличили для тебя славу твою?

Och lagt ditt namn i var mans mun?

Nag-angat Kami para sa iyo ng pagbanggit sa iyo.

இன்னும் உம் நினைவை உமக்கு உயர்த்தினோம்.

และเราได้ยกย่องให้แก่เจ้าแล้ว ซึ่งการกล่าวถึงเจ้า

Senin şanını yükseltmedik mi?

سېنىڭ شۆھرىتىڭنى ئۈستۈن قىلدۇق.

فَاِنَّ

fa inna ma’al-‘usri yusrā

Maka sesungguhnya bersama kesulitan ada kemudahan,

Karena sesungguhnya sesudah kesulitan itu ada kemudahan,

নিশ্চয় কষ্টের সাথে স্বস্তি রয়েছে।

与艰难相伴的,确是容易,

Also gewiß, mit der Erschwernis ist Erleichterung,

Behalve degenen die geloven en goede daden verrichten. Voor hen is er een ononderbroken beloning.

So, surely with hardship comes ease.

¡La adversidad y la felicidad van a una!

Certes, avec la peine vient le soulagement;

ואכן, לאחר המצוקה תבוא הרווחה,

In verità per ogni difficoltà c’è una facilità 1 .

本当に困難と共に,安楽はあり,

그러니 실로 어려움과 함께 쉬움이 있노라.

Oleh itu, maka (tetapkanlah kepercayaanmu) bahawa sesungguhnya tiap-tiap kesukaran disertai kemudahan,

مسلماً با [هر] دشواری، آسانی است.

Então, por certo, com a dificuldade, há facilidade!

Воистину, за каждой тягостью наступает облегчение.

På prövningen följer lättnad!

Kaya tunay na kasama sa hirap ay ginhawa.

ஆகவே, நிச்சயமாக சிரமத்துடன் இலேசு இருக்கிறது.

ฉะนั้นแท้จริงหลังจากความยากลำบากก็จะมีความง่าย

Elbette güçlükle beraber şüphesiz bir kolaylık vardır.

ئەلۋەتتە ھەر بىر مۈشكۈللۈك بىلەن بىر ئاسانلىق بار.

اِنَّ

inna ma’al-‘usri yusrā

sesungguhnya bersama kesulitan ada kemudahan.

sesungguhnya sesudah kesulitan itu ada kemudahan.

নিশ্চয় কষ্টের সাথে স্বস্তি রয়েছে।

与艰难相伴的,确是容易,

gewiß, mit der Erschwernis ist Erleichterung.

Wat doet jullie dan het oordeel nog loochenen?

Surely with that hardship comes more ease.1

¡La adversidad y la felicidad van a una!

Oui, avec la peine vient le soulagement.

אכן, לאחר המצוקה תבוא הרווחה.

Sì, per ogni difficoltà c’è una facilità 1 .

本当に困難と共に,安楽はある。

실로 어려움과 함께 쉬움이 있노라.

(Sekali lagi ditegaskan): bahawa sesungguhnya tiap-tiap kesukaran disertai kemudahan.

[آری؛] مسلماً با [هر] دشواری، آسانی است.

Por certo, com a dificuldade, há facilidade!

За каждой тягостью наступает облегчение.

[Ja,] på prövningen följer lättnad!

Tunay na kasama sa hirap ay ginhawa.

நிச்சயமாக சிரமத்துடன் இலேசு இருக்கிறது.

แท้จริงหลังจากความยากลำบากก็จะมีความง่าย

Gerçekten, güçlükle beraber bir kolaylık vardır.

ئەلۋەتتە شۇ مۈشكۈللۈك بىلەن يەنە بىر ئاسانلىق بار.

فَاِذَا
maka apabila
So when
فَرَغۡتَ
kamu telah selesai
you have finished
فَانۡصَبۡۙ‏
maka kerja keraslah kamu
then labor hard

fa iżā faragta fanṣab

Maka apabila engkau telah selesai (dari suatu urusan), tetaplah bekerja keras (untuk urusan yang lain),

Maka apabila kamu telah selesai (dari sesuatu urusan), kerjakanlah dengan sungguh-sungguh (urusan) yang lain,

অতএব, যখন অবসর পান পরিশ্রম করুন।

当你的事务完毕时,

Wenn du nun fertig bist, dann strenge dich an

Is Allah niet de Rechtvaardigste der Rechters?

So once you have fulfilled your duty, strive in devotion,

Cuando estés libre, ¡mantente diligente!

Quand tu auras accompli (tes devoirs terrestres), lève-toi (pour la prière),

עת תהיה פנוי,

Appena ne hai il tempo 1 , mettiti dunque ritto 2 ,

それで(当面の務めから)楽になったら,更に労苦して,

그러니 (일과를) 끝마쳤을 때 그대는 (경배 행위에) 매진하고

Kemudian apabila engkau telah selesai (daripada sesuatu amal soleh), maka bersungguh-sungguhlah engkau berusaha (mengerjakan amal soleh yang lain),

پس هنگامی‌ که [از کار و امور دنیا] فارغ شدی، [به عبادت پروردگارت] بکوش

Então, quando estiverdes livre, esforça-te em orar,

Посему, как только освободишься, будь деятелен (как только освободишься от мирских дел, усердно поклоняйся Аллаху, или как только завершишь намаз, усердно взывай к Аллаху с молитвами)

Stå upp, när du har fullgjort [din uppgift],

Kaya kapag nakatapos ka [sa gawain] ay magpakapagal ka [sa pagsamba],

ஆகவே, நீர் ஓய்வு பெற்றால், (அல்லாஹ்வை வணங்குவதில்) களைப்படைவீராக!

ดังนั้นเมื่อเจ้าเสร็จสิ้น (จากงานหนึ่งแล้ว) ก็จงลำบากต่อไป

Öyleyse, bir işi bitirince diğerine giriş;

(ئى مۇھەممەد! دەۋەتتىن) بوشىغان چېغىڭدا (ئاللاھقا) ئىبادەت قىلىشقا تىرىشقىن.

وَاِلٰى
dan hanya
And to
رَبِّكَ
Tuhanmu
your Lord
فَارۡغَب‏
maka kamu berharap
turn your attention
٨

wa ilā rabbika fargab

dan hanya kepada Tuhanmulah engkau berharap.

dan hanya kepada Tuhan-mulah hendaknya kamu berharap.

এবং আপনার পালনকর্তার প্রতি মনোনিবেশ করুন।

你应当勤劳,你应当向你的主恳求。

und nach deinem Herrn richte dein Begehren aus.

Lees voor! In de naam van jouw Heer, Die heeft geschapen.

turning to your Lord alone with hope.

Y a tu Señor ¡deséale ardientemente!

Et recherche ton Seigneur avec empressement !

ואל ריבונך התכוון בכמיהה!

e aspira al tuo Signore. 1 Una tradizione attribuita all’Inviato di Allah (pace e benedizioni su di lui) riferisce il racconto del fatto prodigioso che accadde a Muhammad quando ancora bambino viveva presso i Bani Sa‘d nel deserto. Disse il Profeta: «Vennero due uomini vestiti di bianco, avevano una bacinella d’oro colma di neve. Si chinarono su di me, aprirono il mio petto e ne estrassero il cuore. Da esso trassero un grumo nero che gettarono via, quindi lavarono il cuore e il petto con neve». 2 Secondo il Tabarì (xxx, 234-significa: «Non ti abbiamo liberato dall’idolatria e cancellato ogni tuo peccato?». 3 Siamo certi che nessun uomo al mondo sia tenuto in tanto alta considerazione quanto Muhammad ibn Abdallah ibn Hâshîm, il nostro Profeta (pace e benedizioni su di lui). Oltre un miliardo e duecento milioni di musulmani citano il suo nome con reverenza e amore sincero. Le conseguenze della sua missione spirituale, etica, giuridica e politica sono totalmente vive e operanti dopo quattordici secoli dalla sua scomparsa da questo mondo e perdureranno (insh-Allah) fino all’Ultimo Giorno di questa vita terrena e in perpetuo nell’Altra. 4 Questa è la vita in questo mondo, un’alternanza di gioie e dolori, di difficoltà e di vie d’uscita ai problemi. 5 Secondo molti commentatori questo versetto, praticamente uguale al precedente, ne differisce nel significato: esso infatti significherebbe che «in ogni male c’è del bene» e che «dopo un rovescio della sorte, può arridere il successo». 6 «Appena ne hai il tempo»: potrebbe essere l’invito a eseguire l’orazione nel suo tempo di elezione. In quello cioè migliore per compierla (vedi Appendice 2). 7 «mettiti dunque ritto»: per pregare.

(只一筋に)あなたの主に傾倒するがいい。

그대 주님께로 소망하라.

Dan kepada Tuhanmu sahaja hendaklah engkau memohon (apa yang engkau gemar dan ingini).

و به سوی پروردگارت راغب [و مشتاق] شو.

E dirige-te a teu Senhor em rogos.

и устремись к своему Господу.

och vänd dig med hela ditt hjärta [i bön] till din Herre.

at sa Panginoon mo ay magmithi ka.

இன்னும் உம் இறைவனின் பக்கம் ஆர்வம் கொள்வீராக!

และยังพระเจ้าของเจ้าเท่านั้นก็ที่เจ้าจงมุ่งปรารถนาเถิด

Ve ümit edeceğini yalnız Rabbinden iste.

پەرۋەردىگارىڭغا يۈزلەنگىن.

Name


The Surah is so designated after the first sentence.


Period of Revelation


Its subject matter so closely resembles that of Surah Ad-Duha that both these Surah seem to have been revealed in about the same period under similar conditions. According to Hadrat Abdullah bin Abbas, it was sent down in Makkah just after wad-Duha.


Theme and Subject Matter


The aim and object of this Surah too is to console and encourage the Holy Messenger (upon whom be Allah’s peace). Before his call he never had to encounter the conditions which he suddenly had to encounter after it when he embarked on his mission of inviting the people to Islam. This was by itself a great revolution in his own life of which he had no idea in his life before Prophethood. No sooner had he started preaching the message of Islam than the same society which had esteemed him with unique honor, turned hostile to him. The same relatives and friends, the same clansmen and neighbors, who used to treat him with the highest respect, began to shower him with abuse and invective. No one in Makkah was prepared to listen to him; he began to be ridiculed and mocked in the street and on the road; and at every step he had to face new difficulties. Although gradually he became accustomed to the hardships, even much severer ones, yet the initial stage was very discouraging for him.
That is why first Surah Ad-Duha was sent down to console him, and then this Surah.


In it, at the outset, Allah says: “We have favored you, O Prophet, with three great blessings; therefore you have no cause to be disheartened. The first is the blessing of Sharh Sadr (opening up of the breast), the second of removing from you the heavy burden that was weighing down your back before the call, and the third of exalting your renown the like of which has never been granted to any man before. Further below in the notes we have explained what is implied by each of these blessings and how great and unique these blessings indeed are!


After this, the Lord and Sustainer of the universe has reassured His Servant and Messenger (upon whom be peace) that the period of hardships which he is passing through, is not very long, but following close behind it there is also a period of ease. This same thing has been described in Surah Ad-Duha, saying: “Every later period is better for you than the former period, and soon your Lord will give you so much that you will be well pleased.”


In conclusion, the Holy Prophet has been instructed, so as to say, “You can develop the power to bear and resist the hardships of the initial stage only by one means, and it is this: \`When you are free from your occupations, you should devote yourself to the labor and toil of worship, and turn all your attention exclusively to your Lord’.”This same instruction has been given him in much greater detail in Surah Al-Muzzammil: 1-9.


Surat Asy Syarh yang dalam tulisan arabnya tertulisالشرح (baca: Asy Syarh),mempunyai arti surat; Lapang. Asy Syarh merupakan urutan surat dalam Alquran yang ke 94, namun surat ini berada di urutan turun surat Al Quran yang ke 12, dan termasuk golongan surat Makkiyah. Jumlah ayat Surat Asy Syarh adalah 8 ayat. Pada mushaf Madinah, Surat ini dimulai dari halaman ke 596, sampai halaman ke 596. Surat Asy Syarh di awali dengan membaca بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
