Kecelakaanlah bagi setiap pengumpat lagi pencela,

প্রত্যেক পশ্চাতে ও সম্মুখে পরনিন্দাকারীর দুর্ভোগ,

伤哉!每个诽谤者,诋毁者,

Wehe jedem Stichler und Nörgler,

Heb jij niet vernomen hoe jouw Heer met de mensen van de olifant heeft gehandeld?

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer,

¡Ay de todo aquél que difame, que critique,

Malheur à tout calomniateur, diffamateur,

אבוי, לרכלן ולזה שמוציא לשון הרע

Guai ad ogni diffamatore maldicente,

災いなるかな,凡ての悪口を言って中傷する者。

험담하고 비웃는 자에게 재앙이 있도다.

Kecelakaan besar bagi tiap-tiap pencaci, pengeji,

وای بر هر غیبت‌کننده [و] عیبجوی‌!

Ai de todo difamador, caluniador.

Горе всякому хулителю и обидчику,

ILLA SKALL det gå den som försöker finna fel hos [andra] och baktalar dem!

Kapighatian ay ukol sa bawat palalibak na palatuligsa,

புறம் பேசுபவர், குறை கூறுபவர் எல்லோருக்கும் கேடுதான்.

ความหายนะจงประสบแด่ทุกผู้นินทาและผู้ใส่ร้ายผู้อื่น

Mal toplayarak onu tekrar tekrar sayan, diliyle çekiştirip alay eden kimsenin vay haline!

yang mengumpulkan harta dan menghitung-hitungnya,

yang mengumpulkan harta dan menghitung-hitungnya,

যে অর্থ সঞ্চিত করে ও গণনা করে

他聚积财产, 而当作武器,

der Besitz zusammenträgt und ihn zählt und immer wieder zählt,

Heeft Hij hun plan niet verijdeld?

who amasses wealth greedily and counts it repeatedly,

que amase hacienda y la cuente una y otra vez,

qui amasse les biens et ne laisse pas de les compter,

אשר קיבץ כסף ומנה אותו.

che accumula ricchezze e le conta 1

財を集めて計算する(のに余念のない)者。

그는 재산을 모아 계산하는 자로서

Yang mengumpulkan harta dan berulang-ulang menghitung kekayaannya;

[همان] کسی که مال فراونی گرد می‌آورد و آن را بارها می‌شمارد.

Que junta riquezas e, com deleite, as conta,

который копит состояние и пересчитывает его,

[Och] som samlar pengar på hög och [i stället för att göra gott] ägnar sig åt att räkna dem

na nag-ipon ng yaman at bumilang-bilang nito,

செல்வத்தைச் சேகரித்து, அதை எண்ணி எண்ணிப் பார்த்தவன்.

ซึ่งเขาสะสมทรัพย์สมบัติและหมั่นนับมันอยู่เสมอ

Mal toplayarak onu tekrar tekrar sayan, diliyle çekiştirip alay eden kimsenin vay haline!

ئۇ مال توپلىدى ۋە ئۇنى (ياخشىلىق يوللىرىغا سەرپ قىلماي ساقلاش ئۈچۈن) سانىدى.

yaḥsabu anna mālahū akhladah

dia (manusia) mengira bahwa hartanya itu dapat mengekalkannya.

সে মনে করে যে, তার অর্থ চিরকাল তার সাথে থাকবে!

他以为他的财产,能使他不灭。

wobei er meint, daß sein Besitz ihn ewig leben ließe!

En Hij heeft over hen zwermen vogels gezonden.

thinking that their wealth will make them immortal!

creyendo que su hacienda le hará inmortal!

pensant que ses biens le rendront éternel.

הוא חושב שכספו יביא לו חיים נצחיים.

pensa che la sua ricchezza lo renderà immortale?

本当にその財が,かれを永久に生かすと考えている。

그의 재산이 그를 영원케 할 것이라 생각하더라.

Ia menyangka bahawa hartanya itu dapat mengekalkannya (dalam dunia ini)!

گمان می‌کند که مالَش او را جاودانه می‌سازد.

Supõe que suas riquezas o tornarão eterno.

думая, что богатство увековечит его.

i förhoppningen att hans rikedom skall ge honom evigt liv!

habang nag-aakala na ang yaman niya ay magpapanatili sa kanya.

நிச்சயமாக தன் செல்வம் தன்னை (உலகத்தில்) நிரந்தரமாக்கும் எனக் கருதுகிறான்.

โดยคิดว่าทรัพย์สมบัติของเขานั้นจะทำให้เขาอยู่ได้ตลอดไป

Malının kendisini ölümsüz kılacağını sanır.

ئۇ مېلى ئۆزىنى (دۇنيادا مەڭگۈ قالدۇرىدۇ دەپ ئويلايدۇ).

kallā layumbażanna fil-ḥuṭamah

Sekali-kali tidak! Pasti dia akan dilemparkan ke dalam (neraka) Ḥuṭamah.

sekali-kali tidak! Sesungguhnya dia benar-benar akan dilemparkan ke dalam ῌuṭamah.

কখনও না, সে অবশ্যই নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে পিষ্টকারীর মধ্যে।

绝不然,他必定要被投在毁灭坑中。

Keineswegs! Er wird ganz gewiß in al-Hutama geworfen werden.

Die stenen van klei op hen wierpen.

Not at all! Such a person will certainly be tossed into the Crusher.

¡No! ¡Será precipitado, ciertamente, en la hutama !

Que non ! Il sera précipité dans la Ḥutamah. 1

לא ולא! אכן, ייזרק אל המועכת (הגיהינום)!

No, sarà certamente gettato nella Voragine 1 .

断じてそうではない。かれは必ず業火の中に,投げ込まれる。

그렇지 않노라. 정녕 그는 부스러뜨리는 곳으로 내던져질 것이라.

Tidak! Sesungguhnya dia akan dicampakkan ke dalam “Al-Hutamah”.

هرگز چنین نیست [که او گمان می‌کند]؛ قطعاً در آتشِ درهم‌کوبنده انداخته خواهد شد.

Em absoluto, não o tornarão! Em verdade, ele será deitado fora, em al-Hutama.

Но нет! Его непременно ввергнут в Огонь сокрушающий.

Nej [han misstar sig]! Han kommer att kastas i Hutamah!

Aba’y hindi! Talagang ihahagis nga siya sa Mapangwasak.

அவ்வாறல்ல, நிச்சயமாக அவன் “ஹுதமா’ (நரகத்தி)ல் எறியப்படுவான்.

มิใช่เช่นนั้น แน่นอนเขาจะถูกโยนลงไปในไฟนรก (อัลฮุเฏาะมะฮฺ)

Hayır; o, and olsun ki, Hutame’ye atılacaktır.

ھەرگىز ئۇنداق ئەمەس، ئۇ چوقۇم ھۇتەمەگە تاشلىنىدۇ.

وَمَاۤ

And what

will make you know

wa mā adrāka mal-ḥuṭamah

Dan tahukah kamu apakah (neraka) Ḥuṭamah itu?

Dan tahukah kamu apa ῌuṭamah itu?

আপনি কি জানেন, পিষ্টকারী কি?

你怎能知道毁灭坑是什么?

Was läßt dich wissen, was al-Hutama ist?

Zo maakte Hij hen als (door wormen) aangevreten bladeren.

And what will make you realize what the Crusher is?

Y ¿cómo sabrás qué es la hutama ?

Et qui te fera jamais savoir ce qu’est la Ḥutamah ?

ומה תדע על המועכת?!

E chi mai ti farà comprendere cos’è la Voragine?

業火が,何であるかをあなたに理解させるものは何か。

무엇이 그대에게 부스러뜨리는 곳이 무엇인지를 알려 줄 것인가?

Dan apa jalannya engkau dapat mengetahui, apa dia “Al-Hutamah” itu?

و [ای پیامبر،] تو چه می‌دانی که آتشِ درهم‌کوبنده چیست؟

E o que te faz inteirar-te do que é al-Hutamah?

Откуда ты мог знать, что такое Огонь сокрушающий?

Och vad kan låta dig förstå vad Hutamah betyder

Ano ang nagpabatid sa iyo kung ano ang Mapangwasak?

(நபியே!) ஹுதமா என்றால் என்னவென்று உமக்கு எது அறிவித்தது?

และอะไรเล่าที่ทำให้เจ้ารู้ได้ว่า ไฟนรก (อัลฮุเฏาะมะฮฺ) นั้นคืออะไร

Hutame’nin ne olduğunu sen bilir misin?

ھۇتەمەنىڭ نېمىلىكىنى قانداق بىلەلەيسەن؟

(Yaitu) api (azab) Allah yang dinyalakan,

(Yaitu) api (yang disediakan) Allah yang dinyalakan,

এটা আল্লাহর প্রজ্জ্বলিত অগ্নি,

是安拉的燃着的烈火。

(Sie ist) Allahs entfachtes Feuer,

Vanwege de gewoonte*1 van de Qoeraisj.

It is Allah’s kindled Fire,

Es el fuego de Alá encendido,

C’est le Feu d’Allah, à jamais attisé,

זו אש אללה, הבוערת

[È] il Fuoco attizzato di Allah,

(それは)ぼうぼうと燃えているアッラーの火,

(그것은) 타오르는 하나님의 불지옥으로서

(Al-Hutamah) ialah api Allah yang dinyalakan (dengan perintahNya), –

آتش برافروختۀ الهی است؛

É o fogo aceso, de Allah,

Это – разожженный Огонь Аллаха,

[Det är] Guds eld,

[Ito ay] ang Apoy ni Allāh, na ginagatungan,

(அது) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய (கட்டளையால்) எரிக்கப்பட்ட நெருப்பாகும்.

คือไฟของอัลลอฮฺที่ถูกจุดให้ลุกโชน

O, yüreklere çökecek olan, Allah’ın tutuşturulmuş ateşidir.

ئۇ، ئاللاھنىڭ ياندۇرغان ئوتىدۇركى، (ئۇنىڭ ئەلىمى) يۈرەكلەرگە يېتىپ بارىدۇ[6ـ7].

allatī taṭṭali’u ‘alal-af`idah

yang (membakar) sampai ke hati.

যা হৃদয় পর্যন্ত পৌছবে।

能升到人的心上。

das Einblick in die Herzen gewinnt.

Hun gewoonte van het maken van tochten in de winter en de zomer.

which rages over the hearts.

Que llega hasta las entrañas.

qui atteindra les cœurs.

ואשר תשרוף את לבבות

che consuma i cuori.

心臓を焼き尽し,

가슴을 관통하노라.

Yang naik menjulang ke hati;

[آتشی] که بر دل‌ها چیره می‌گردد [و می‌سوزانَد].

O qual sobe até os corações.

который вздымается над сердцами.

som skall blossa upp och tränga in i [syndarnas] hjärtan;

na nanunuot sa mga puso.

(அது உடல்களில் பட்டவுடன்) உள்ளங்களில் எட்டிப் பார்க்கும்.

ซึ่งมันจะลุกไหม้เข้าไปในหัวใจ

O, yüreklere çökecek olan, Allah’ın tutuşturulmuş ateşidir.

ئۇ، ئاللاھنىڭ ياندۇرغان ئوتىدۇركى، (ئۇنىڭ ئەلىمى) يۈرەكلەرگە يېتىپ بارىدۇ[6ـ7].

اِنَّهَا

innahā ‘alaihim mu`ṣadah

Sungguh, api itu ditutup rapat atas (diri) mereka,

Sesungguhnya api itu ditutup rapat atas mereka,

এতে তাদেরকে বেঁধে দেয়া হবে,

他们必定要被关在烈火中,

Gewiß, es wird sie einschließen

Daarom moeten zij de Heer van dit Huis aanbidden.

It will be sealed over them,

Se cerrará sobre ellos

Sur eux il se refermera

הן, היא סוגרת עליהם

Invero [si chiuderà] su di loro 1 ,

かれらの頭上に完全に覆い被さり,

실로 그것(불지옥)은 그들 위에 굳게 닫혀져 있으며

Sesungguhnnya api neraka itu ditutup rapat atas mereka.

بی‌گمان، آن [آتش] بر آنان بسته شده [و از هر سو محاصره‌شان کرده] است.

Por certo, será cerrado sobre eles,

Воистину, он сомкнется над ними

och sluta sig omkring dem

Tunay na ito sa kanila ay itataklob

நிச்சயமாக அது (-நரகம்) அவர்கள் மீது மூடப்படும். (அதிலிருந்து அவர்கள் வெளியேறவே முடியாது.)

แท้จริงมันจะลุกไหม้คลุมบนพวกเขาอย่างมิดชิด

Onlar, uzun sütunlar arasında, her yönden o ateşle kapatılmışlardır.

ئۇلار چوقۇم دوزاخقا سولىنىدۇ.

fī ‘amadim mumaddadah

(sedang mereka itu) diikat pada tiang-tiang yang panjang.

লম্বা লম্বা খুঁটিতে।

吊在许多高柱子上。

in langgestreckten Säulen.

Degene Die hun tegen de honger voedt en hen veilig stelt voor de angst.

בעמודים ניצבים

in estese colonne 1 . 2 «e le conta»: che non fa che contarle e vantarsene.Forse c’è un rifermento preciso al già citato Al Walîd ibnu-l-Mughira. 3 «la Voragine», uno dei nomi o dei luoghi dell’Inferno. 4 Il Fuoco sarà come una volta immane che comprenderà i dannati. 5 Il senso esatto di questo versetto non è chiaro neppure ai più autorevoli esegeti. Potrebbe trattarsi delle colonne di fiamme che reggono la volta di fuoco (vedi nota sopra) o delle colonne infernali alle quali saranno incatenate gli empi. Allah ne sa di più.

(逃れることの出来ない)列柱の中に。

내뻗친 기둥들 속에 있노라.

(Mereka terikat di situ) pada batang-batang palang yang melintang panjang.

[افروخته] در ستون‌های بلند است.

Em colunas extensas.

высокими столбами (мученики будут прикованы к этим столбам или врата Ада будут заперты и закреплены этими столбами).

i ändlösa kolonnader av eld!

sa mga haliging binanat.

உயரமான தூண்களில் (அவர்கள் கட்டப்படுவார்கள்).

อยู่ในสภาพของเสาสูงชะลูด

Onlar, uzun sütunlar arasında, her yönden o ateşle kapatılmışlardır.

ئېگىز تۈۋرۈكلەرگە باغلىنىدۇ.

Name

The Surah takes its name from the word humazah occurring in the first verse.

Period of Revelation

All commentators are agreed that it is a Makki Surah; a study of its subject matter and style shows that this too is one of the earliest Surahs to be revealed in Makkah.

Theme and Subject Matter

In the surah, some of the evils prevalent among the materialistic hoarders of wealth in the pre-Islamic days have been condemned. Every Arab knew that these evils genuinely existed in their society; they regarded them as evils and nobody thought they were good. After Allah calls attention to this kind of ugly character, the ultimate end in the Hereafter of the people with this kind of character has been stated. Both these things (i.e. the character and his fate in the Hereafter) have been depicted in a way which makes the listener automatically reach the conclusion that such a man deserves to meet such an end, and since people of such character do not suffer any punishment in the world, but seem to be thriving instead, the occurrence of the Hereafter becomes absolutely inevitable.

If this Surah is read in the sequence of the Surahs beginning with Az-Zilzal, one can fully understand how the fundamental beliefs of Islam and its teachings were impressed on the people’s minds in the earliest stages in Makkah. In Surah Az-Zilzal, it was said that in the Hereafter man’s full record will be placed before him and not an atom’s weight of good or evil done by him in the world will have been left unrecorded. In Surah Al-Adiyat, attention was drawn to the plunder and loot, bloodshed and vandalism, prevailing in Arabia before Islam; making the people realize that the way the powers given by God were being abused was indeed an expression of sheer ingratitude to Him. They were told that the matter would not end up in the world, but in the second life after death with not only their deeds but their intentions and motives also being examined. They were informed that their Lord fully well knows which of them deserves reward or punishment. In Surah Al-Qariah after depicting Resurrection, the people were warned that in the Hereafter a man’s good or evil end will be dependent on whether the scale of his good deeds was heavier, or the scale of his evil deeds was; in Surah At-Takathur the people were taken to task for the materialistic mentality due to which they remained occupied in seeking increase in worldly benefits, pleasures, comforts and position, and in vying with one another for abundance of everything until death overtook them. Then, warning them of the evil consequences of their heedlessness, they were told that the world was not an open table of food for them to pick and choose whatever they pleased, but for every single blessing that they were enjoying in the world, they would have to render an account to their Lord and Sustainer as to how they obtained it and how they used it. In Surah Al-Asr, it was declared that each member, each group and each community of mankind, even the entire world of humanity, was in manifest loss, if its members were devoid of Faith and righteous deeds and of the practice of exhorting others to truth and patience. Immediately after this comes Surah Al-Humazah, in which after presenting a specimen of leadership of the pre-Islamic age of ignorance, the people have been asked the question: “What should such a character deserve if not loss and perdition?”

Surat Al Humazah yang dalam tulisan arabnya tertulisالهمزة (baca: Al Humazah),mempunyai arti surat; Pengumpat. Al Humazah merupakan urutan surat dalam Alquran yang ke 104, namun surat ini berada di urutan turun surat Al Quran yang ke 32, dan termasuk golongan surat Makkiyah. Jumlah ayat Surat Al Humazah adalah 9 ayat. Pada mushaf Madinah, Surat ini dimulai dari halaman ke 601, sampai halaman ke 601. Surat Al Humazah di awali dengan membaca بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
